About

Reentry Employment Opportunities

The Reentry and Employment Opportunities (REO) program is designed to strengthen communities through employment-centered grants that incorporate job training, employment supports, mentoring, supportive services, and other comprehensive transitional services for youth and adults involved with the justice system. REO’s adult-focused grants seek to reduce recidivism by helping people currently and previously incarcerated find work when they return to their communities. REO’s youth-focused grants seek to divert youth from prolonged justice system involvement. Faith-based and community organizations play a key role in REO’s work along with American Job Centers.
