Pathway Home 5 (PH5) Prospective Applicant Webcast
About
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Reentry Employment Opportunities (REO) and the Office of Grant Management (OGM) will share information on how to apply for the Pathway Home 5 (PH5) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). The Prospective Applicant Webcast will go over relative topics that will assist applicants with understanding the FOA requirements.
The Pathway Home program prepares justice-involved individuals for skills-based employment by providing reentry services prior to release from state correctional facilities, county or local jails and to continue comprehensive services after release through job preparation, career exploration, and skills building services. By providing reentry services while participants are still incarcerated and continuing post-release, help eliminate the time gap between release from prison and enrollment into a workforce development reentry program. This improves individuals’ transition back into their communities and reduces recidivism. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, state and local government entities, federally recognized Indian, Native American and Tribal governments and public institutions of higher education. Prospective applicants will learn about DOL offices and roles, program overview, technical Assistance, performance reporting and requirements, grant management, statement of work, communication and next steps.
