This session featured stories from DYS’s Voices of Experience: Youth Work Experience video series in which youth work experience providers shared success stories, tips for creating impactful work experiences for youth and employers, and lessons learned from adapting their programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This video series features:

  • Early Childhood Resource Center, an Ohio-based child care work experience provider;
  • Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency, which provides youth in Michigan with summer work experience opportunities;
  • New Hampshire Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG), which connects youth with health care providers; and
  • Virginia WIOA Youth Summer Program, a youth work experience practitioner in Virginia.

Participants also had the chance to connect with DYS staff and learn about work experience requirements.
